Rhetorical Analysis* Report

Updated: Apr 2, 2020

The objective of this essay was to discuss the impact that social media has on its user’s perception of factual information. This argument was focused on the example of the anti-vaccination movement and how its community of social media users can twist information to persuade an audience.

To complete this assignment, I conducted research from opposing viewpoints by distributing surveys, analyzing social media trends, and reviewing preexisting arguments. I examined how they formed their arguments to persuade their audience. It taught me to recognize research bias and to understand the importance of one’s position in an argument.
